This Benylin treatment is a solution for a mucus cough that will reduce a cough and relieve nose problems and clear mucus in the throat, chest, and nose. It works thanks to the active ingredients contained in the tablets, which are:
- Paracetamol
- Guaifenesin
- Phenylephrine
Paracetamol is a painkiller that is found is a wide range of treatments that also serve as a treatment for a fever. - An overactive thyroid
- Glaucoma
- Difficulty passing urine
- Taking antidepressants Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs), or take them in the last 14 days
- Taking beta-blocking drugs
- Taking any other decongestant drugs
- Using cough suppressants
If you are taking medication for any other condition, speak to a doctor or pharmacist before using these Benylin tablets.
Can someone who is pregnant or breastfeeding use these tablets?
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, then do not use these tablets.
How should Benylin Mucus Cough & Cold All In One Relief be used?
Take two tablets every four hours. Do not take more than eight tablets in a day. If symptoms do not improve, then speak to a doctor or pharmacist.
Are there any side effects?
Because it is a medicine, there is a chance of side effects. Potential side effects include:
- A skin rash
- An upset stomach
- A change in a heartbeat
- Insomnia
- Nervousness
- Tremors
- A rise in body temperature
